About the role

To manage, co-ordinate and continuously improve the photography production process and end to end flow across all marketing channels

Key Responsibilities -

• Manage and implement the photography plan for Ecommerce and Creative (TV stills, out of home, social, CRM etc) across all divisions (women's, men's, kid's, and home)
• Ensure that all photography is produced in the most efficient way (quality/cost/time)
• Effective management of external agencies to ensure delivery against the brief
• Seek out innovative solutions to improve quality of output and drive cost efficiencies
• Manage the sample tracking system and processes of all samples into marketing
• Implement and ensure adherence to EComm 3rd party photography governance plan
• Manage, build engagement, and develop the capability of the samples team

• Achievement of studio service level agreements (e.g. quality and speed to site)
• Timeline & budget management; on time delivery driving cost efficiencies

• Art Directors and Styling Team - close management of the individual shoots
• EComm Trade Team - day-to-day image management on Matalan website
• Heads of EComm - when working across more strategic long-term projects
• B&M Team - liaising with the marketing/photography reps for product samples
• External photography studio - working account management team for Ecomm shoots

• Previous experience (c5yrs) within studio; retail and/or agency environment
• Ideally (but not essential) knowledge of fashion and/or retail businesses
• Strong project management skills - managing multiple projects concurrently
• Good communication skills and excellent attention to detail
• A problem solver who seeks solutions and moves to execution at pace
• Previous line management experience is desirable
