The Operations Technician – Process is accountable for the safe and cGMP compliant operation of the Animal Health production plants.

Functions, Duties, Tasks

  • Ensure the safe operation of the production plants and ensure that the appropriate health, environmental and safety standards are met and improved upon. Ensures that safe behaviors and practices are followed and reinforced in the Animal Health team.
  • Operate the plant in accordance with specified procedures and in compliance with Quality and cGMP requirements.
  • Consistently participates in the Performance Management processes (where applicable) with regard to the setting of objectives and the development and implementation of a personal development plan.
  • Consistently ensures that appropriate cGMP and business activities are completed (housekeeping checks, logbook completion, SAP transactions, etc.) and consistently adheres to appropriate work practices and processes (GIPSM, TSA/ PTW etc.).
  • Take appropriate actions to meet the production commitments in terms of volumes, efficiencies, quality, cycle times and losses.
  • Participates in the quality, compliance, and EH&S processes (active monitoring, incident reporting and investigations, attendance at compliance and safety meetings etc.).
  • Carry out specified testing/inspections/checks in order improve the process yield and quality.
  • Perform periodic and breakdown maintenance tasks to ensure equipment performance and process continuity are maintained.

Additional Preferences:

  • Forklift truck licence
  • Experience in process operations or related field is preferable but not essential
