The Role
We’re on the lookout for an experienced Account Coordinator to join our EU Trailers Department. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment, liaising with hauliers, freight forwarders, and customers to coordinate the smooth movement of goods across Europe
Key Responsibilities:
* Arrange collections and deliveries in line with arrival and sailing schedules
* Liaise with hauliers, freight forwarders, and customers to ensure on-time deliveries
* Track cargo and maintain clear stock visibility with the team
* Manage documentation related to stock and deliveries
* Handle UK and potentially EU customs clearance
* Prepare and issue daily and weekly operational reports
* Negotiate competitive rates with transport partners
* Ensure all departmental deadlines are met
* Collaborate with colleagues for seamless customer service
* Create and send customer invoices

The Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for someone who thrives in logistics and is passionate about delivering excellent service. About you:
* 2+ years of experience in European Road Freight
* Background in freight forwarding or distribution
* Strong communication and telephone skills
* Confident using computers and systems (training provided)
* Knowledge of customs clearance and EU documentation desirable
* Team player with the ability to work independently
* Willing to learn and grow within the role
