Engineering Manager - #1624691

We are handling an exclusive opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager to join a reputable, award-winning national developer in Surrey. Working as part of a team, you will be involved in the due diligence and value engineering of live and forthcoming projects throughout the South East, whilst liaising with sub-contractors, external consultants and local authorities. Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake detailed engineering due diligence during land acquisition and feasibility stages.


• Lead on the value engineering of live and upcoming residential projects.


• Oversee and coordinate civil engineering design (roads, drainage, levels) with external consultants.


• Ensure all engineering design complies with local authority requirements, Building Regulations, and NHBC/LABC standards.


• Manage technical input into planning applications and provide support through the planning approval process.


• Liaise with utility providers, statutory bodies, and highway/drainage authorities to ensure timely approvals and connections.


• Work collaboratively with internal teams including Land, Planning, Technical, and Construction.


• Support cost planning and procurement by identifying and mitigating engineering risks.


• Monitor consultant performance and ensure deadlines and technical standards are met.


• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice, and innovations in civil engineering.
