Job Title: Community Engagement Officer
Location: Right at Home Sefton, Unit 39A Space Solutions Business Centre, Sefton Lane Industrial Estate, Maghull, Liverpool, L31 8BX
Working Hours: Part time - 20-30 hours per week
Salary: £14,000-£21,000 per annum

We are actively recruiting a Community Engagement Officer for our growing office to manage the promotion of social events and services that Right at Home Sefton provides in the local community.


This role requires an outgoing, experienced, and passionate professional who has a creative and forward-thinking approach to developing a business. You should have a strong background in effectively meeting objectives and targets in a customer-focused environment, along with excellent communication, IT, and organizational skills.


We need a personable individual who is able to integrate seamlessly into the local community to represent our premium quality service.


Main Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Liaising with the Business Owner and Registered Manager regarding the local marketing/promotional opportunity requirements of the organisation.

  2. Organising, implementing, facilitating, and managing the presence of Right at Home Sefton at relevant local business premises or events.

  3. Liaising with local organisations (e.g., charities and other groups) which support the target group and organising promotional talks/information sessions.

  4. Liaising with the Care Manager to organise social events for Clients and staff to attend on a regular or seasonal basis (e.g., coffee mornings, Christmas activities, summer events, etc.).

  5. Representing Right at Home Sefton and promoting services to prospective Clients in a variety of settings frequented by the target group, including residential sheltered accommodation, libraries, shopping centres, church groups, etc.
