Overview of the role
The Product Analyst role is a technical hands-on role where you will have to analyse technical artifacts, study metrics and insights and feed information into user stories for our engineering teams to build or adjust features and products to improve our product offerings and level of service to our customers. This is a technical role that will support the change and development processes of the platform teams.
Key responsibilities
As part of the role in a product team you should fulfill the following duties and responsibilities:


  • Work with architects and engineers to come up solutions addressing business needs
  • Collaborating with users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements (user stories, features, tasks)
  • Collaborating with stakeholders, internal and external, supporting incidents and translating into product requirements (user stories, features, tasks)
  • Provide support to Product Owners during the investigation of issues and problems
  • Liaise with Service Management, support teams and Product Owners to quickly resolve problems and queries
  • Help to define and communicate the vision for the team's product
  • Be comfortable looking at system logs when required and identifying bugs when they might appear during course of analysis
  • Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints
  • Assist in the management of third-parties vendors for technical solutions and product solutions where required
  • Assist in the co-ordination of software releases and monitoring post change to identify issues that require urgent reaction from the team

Skills, Qualifications and experience
  • Experience in a junior or technical analyst role, or from an engineering development background
  • Must be a strong communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • A collaborator, critical thinker and problem solver
  • Self-sufficient. Able to manage your own workload and able to identify where appropriate escalation is needed.
  • An understanding of technology at a detailed level
  • Experience working within an agile team environment
