Substance Misuse Nurse - #1675213

Belmont Recruitment currently have vacancies for Substance Misuse Nurses, in the Liverpool area.

We are looking for experienced Substance Misuse Nurses to support individuals who have been affected by substance misuse and alcohol.

As a Substance Misuse Nurse you will be required to:

• Deliver Clinical interventions to support the recovery process.
• Carry out assessments as required for service users, ensuring appropriate referral or signposting.
• Develop and deliver tailored care plans, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, that focus on harm reduction, detoxification, and long-term recovery.
• Administer medications, including substitute prescribing (e.g., methadone), and monitor withdrawal symptoms.
• Work within multidisciplinary teams, ensuring that clients receive the right care at the right time.
• Offer advice and support on safer drug use, health promotion, and overdose.

Salary: £30-£35 per hour.Contract Length: 12 weeks with a view to extend.Hours: Full-timeLocation: Liverpool
