Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed hazard and operability studies (HAZOP), failure mode and effect analyses (FMEA), and other risk assessments to identify potential safety hazards in engineering designs and processes.
• Develop and maintain robust process safety management systems, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Lead investigations into process safety incidents, identifying root causes and recommending corrective and preventive actions.
• Perform regular process safety audits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
• Ensure all process safety activities comply with relevant local and international safety standards (e.g., OSHA, COMAH, ISO standards).
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to incorporate safety measures into project designs, ensuring all systems and components meet safety requirements.
• Develop and deliver training programs for employees and contractors on process safety management and operational safety.
• Assist in the development of emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure readiness for potential safety incidents.
• Prepare and present reports on safety performance metrics, safety incidents, and risk assessments to senior management.
• Continuously review and improve process safety systems and strategies to mitigate risks and enhance safety culture across all projects.
