This role is for a principal electrical design engineer to join a growing building services design team.

You’ll work on a range of technically interesting and varied projects, including the opportunity to work with well-known architects, designers and contractors. Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day technical delivery of the electrical design services for across a range of building sectors.


• Attending project meetings


• Working in an integrated project design team with other construction professionals.


• Technical delivery of work, either alone or part of a team.


• Support and mentor junior engineers in their day-to-day activities, offering advice and guidance.


• Help monitor fee expenditure, resource and work delivered.


• Look at new ways of working.

Experience Required for an Associate Electrical Design Engineer

• Excellent technical knowledge as an electrical design engineer in MEP, preferably a chartered engineer or working towards chartership.


• Thorough understanding of building services engineering and interdisciplinary design.


• Experience of modern technical delivery processes, and use of relevant software/tools such as BIM, Revit, Electrical OM, Dialux and Relux.
