An established Facilities Management provider is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to oversee the commercial and contractual aspects of key FM contracts. This senior-level role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of PFI contracts, strong risk management capabilities, and a proactive approach to contract compliance and governance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the commercial and contractual management of PFI-based FM contracts, ensuring full compliance and operational efficiency. Act as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve commercial disputes, mitigate risks, and drive performance improvements. Manage contract variations, pay mechanisms, and financial reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability. Oversee supply chain governance and service delivery frameworks, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations. Provide commercial insight and leadership to drive profitability and long-term contract success.
Requirements
Proven experience (5+ years) in commercial management within Facilities Management, ideally with PFI contract exposure. Strong knowledge of FM compliance, contract law, and financial reporting. Experience managing risks such as unavailability claims, pay mechanisms, and service performance frameworks. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex contract data and implement strategic improvements.
