The Engineering team:

Would you like an exciting opportunity in our growing Electromagnetics team where we design, develop future and current platforms by integrating and providing through-life support to naval combat systems that enable navies to protect nations.

You will be looking at all aspects of the subject, starting with equipment from an assessment point of view – ensuring regulatory EMC compatibility, meeting appropriate standards, through to integrating on large number of different platforms – land, naval and air. Assessing whether equipment is safe to work with, has controlled emissions, and is susceptible other emitters, intentional or otherwise. Understanding this and being able to design solutions to protect against all of these, aspects will be a key part of the job.

This role is extremely varied and will utilise your technical depth – one day could be spent at a land-based test site, the next at sea on one of the Royal Naval vessels. It is a growing area with potential to become a senior team member and scope for management opportunities.
