The Role
We are seeking a motivated Human Resources Administrator with excellent attention to detail to join our small HR team at our head office in Liverpool. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for HR inquiries and will be responsible for managing key stages of the employee lifecycle.
Key tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Manage the email inbox, support and respond to internal and external HR-related queries.
- Review, update, and signpost company policies and ensure legal compliance in HR practices.
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
- Draft employment contracts, offer letters, and calculate holiday allowance.
- Maintain employee records via the company CRM and internal and external portals, such as employee benefits, learning management system, payroll, etc.
- Prepare contract changes and legal documents (e.g., flexible working, maternity/paternity letters).
- Compile monthly staff reports and collaborate with internal stakeholders such as IT, Payroll, Finance, L&D, and Marketing.
- Analyze employee trends and report relevant data.
- Manage employee appraisal software and administer the yearly appraisal cycle.
Experience and Skills Required
The successful candidate will:
- Have excellent customer service skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Be skilled in Microsoft Office software, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, for data analysis and presentation.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with people at all levels in person and via virtual meetings, phone, and email.
- Focus on solutions, take initiative, influence others, and actively seek information to achieve company goals.
Some experience with people processes and knowledge of employment law are advantageous. A relevant Human Resources qualification, such as CIPD Level 3, or an interest in pursuing it, is desirable but not required.
