Maintenance Technician - Liverpool
£50,000
Our client's business is growing and they are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of their plant equipment and machinery.
You'll handle routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime and boost productivity.
What you'll be doing:
Perform planned maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facilities. Repair, replace, and refurbish components and systems.
Assist with installation, relocation, and modification of equipment.
Identify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Uphold 5S standards and coordinate with teams to minimise disruption.
What You'll Already Have:
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Strong problem-solving and time management skills. Ability to perform Dynamic Risk Assessments and ensure safety compliance.
Clear and effective communication.
NVQ, ONC, or C&G qualification with an apprenticeship.
Minimum 3 year's post-apprenticeship experience in maintenance.
Shift Pattern:
Continental 12-hour shifts (4 on, 4 off)
