A leading global biopharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Procurement to oversee and lead category management across Commercial functions. This high-impact role will be instrumental in shaping procurement strategy, driving cost efficiencies, and building strategic supplier partnerships to support international Commercial teams.

You Will Be Doing:



  • Develop and execute procurement strategies across Commercial spend areas such as Events, Medical Affairs, and Sponsorships.

  • Lead competitive bidding, market analysis, and negotiations to optimize spend and supplier innovation.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior Commercial stakeholders across European and International regions.

  • Drive supplier performance and governance, leading strategic business reviews and vendor segmentation.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and Quality to deliver business value and mitigate risk.


What You Bring:



  • Proven track record in strategic procurement and category management within a global, matrixed environment.

  • Experience supporting European and/or International Commercial functions.

  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and supplier relationship skills.

  • Commercial mindset with financial acumen and analytical capability (Excel and PowerPoint proficiency essential).

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, or a related field.
