The Nurse Manager will oversee nursing operations within the department, ensuring high standards of care are delivered while managing a team of nursing staff. This role is ideal for a motivated leader with clinical experience, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering compassionate patient care.Key Responsibilities:• Leadership & Management: Provide leadership and direction to a team of nurses, ensuring optimal patient care and effective team collaboration.• Staff Supervision: Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursing team, including scheduling, performance reviews, and fostering a supportive work environment.• Clinical Oversight: Ensure high-quality clinical care is delivered in accordance with the latest healthcare regulations and standards.• Training & Development: Support the ongoing professional development of nursing staff through training programs and mentorship.• Quality & Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with healthcare policies, clinical guidelines, and best practices.• Patient Care: Act as a point of contact for complex patient care issues, overseeing assessments, treatment plans, and patient outcomes.• Collaboration: Work closely with medical, administrative, and allied healthcare teams to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.• Budget & Resource Management: Assist in managing departmental budgets, ensuring the effective use of resources and staffing levels.• Health & Safety: Maintain a safe working environment for staff and patients, adhering to health and safety guidelines.Qualifications & Experience:• Registered Nurse (NMC Registered)• Minimum of 3 years of post-registration experience in a clinical setting, with at least 1 year in a leadership or management role.• Strong understanding of nursing standards, patient care, and clinical governance.• Demonstrated ability to manage teams and support staff development.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and the ability to ensure compliance.Personal Attributes:• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.• A passion for delivering high-quality care and supporting patient outcomes.• Adaptability and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.Benefits:• Competitive salary (£40,000 - £45,000)• Comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme• Generous annual leave allowance• Opportunities for further professional development• Supportive and collaborative working environmentIf you are a compassionate and dynamic leader looking to make a difference in patient care, we would love to hear from you.
