Quantity SurveyorLiverpool Fit Out Contractor£55,000 - £60,000 + PackageAbout the CompanyA multi faceted construction and property company, who deliver comprehensive and high quality advisory, construction, property management, facilities management and maintenance solutions to clients across the private and public sector.Their experienced design and construction team delivers a high quality and cost-effective service for businesses seeking fit-out, construction and refurbishment solutions.Their expertise in the retail, food and beverage, hospitality, leisure and other sectors across the UK, means they can apply best practice, innovation and the latest insight into the design and functionality of any space.About the RoleBased at Head Office in Liverpool with site visits as appropriate.Carry out Quantity Surveyor duties on fit out, refurbishment schemes for key clients in the Retail, Commercial, Hospitality & Leisure sectors.You will join a small close knit team of dedicated professionals, working together to deliver projects on time and within budget, reporting to the Construction Director of the division.You will manage more junior members of the commercial team, helping them progress in their own careers.QS Role includes:-

• Control of cost and value
• Subcontractor procurement, payment and management
• Valuations
• Variations and Final Account
• Monthly management reporting
• Protection of the company’s commercial interests
• Working closely with the project team to enable project delivery/success

What you Need to Succeed

• Educated to a Degree level in Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management
• Experience in working on 2+ schemes concurrently
• Leisure or Retail sector build, refurb or fitout experience
• Strong negotiating skills and ability to work as part of an ambitious and successful team
