HGV Lorry Loader (HIAB) operator - #1700939

The Recruitment Co is currently recruiting a hands-on, HGV Lorry Loader (HIAB) Operator based in Port Talbot area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a family business, established since 1974. One of Wales's longest established HIAB transport Companies.
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £14.50ph (Rising to £16.50ph) Overtime of £21.75 per hour is paid when working over 8 hours, and then £29.00 per hour when working over 12 hours per day
Hours of work: Monday to Friday Day Shift, starting between 6am and 8am each day. Optional overtime available.
Holiday Allowance: 30 days per annum (22+8)
Overview: The client is more than just a lift and shift Company; they supply specialist HIAB lifting solutions. You will be working with some of the most advanced equipment in the UK. No day is the same, you will be working more so as a crane operator than a HGV driver.
Job Description

• As a HIAB operator your role will require firstly training on your designated lorry and then carrying out duties set by the Hire Manager for our Customers each day.


• Daily duties involve loading and preparing the lorry and supporting clients out on the road all over Wales and Bristol. Although this can sometimes be further.


• The role does involve manual lifting and operating cranes not just driving.

Job Requirements

• You'll need a Class 2 / Class 1 license and a Driver Qualification Card


• HIAB license CPCS or ALLMI preferred

Desired Job Requirements (Not essential)

• Forklift license and rigger slinger card


• ADR - If you have an ADR qualification then this would be an advantage
