An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Security Engineer to join a dynamic team, maintaining and servicing large integrated security systems. This role is primarily based at customer sites in the Liverpool, Merseyside, and Manchester areas, though occasional travel to other locations may be required.
Responsibilities For Security Engineer
- Work collaboratively with team members on-site and remotely to efficiently address client and company needs.
- Service and maintain CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm Systems in line with manufacturer and industry standards.
- Produce necessary documentation for both internal processes and external customer records.
- Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota to handle fault reports.
- Assist the projects and small works teams with quotes, surveys, installations, and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with company processes through vehicle, equipment, and procedural audits.
- Generate site-specific Risk Assessment & Method Statements (RAMS) when required.
- Conduct pre-use checks on PPE and safety equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety policies.
- Complete chargeable works orders to a high standard and address identified defects.
- Proven experience in servicing and maintaining security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm Systems.
- Strong technical skills with a track record in fault-finding.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize workloads effectively.
- Commercial awareness balanced with customer focus and engagement.
- Previous experience working directly with clients on-site.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Full UK driving license, with a willingness to travel and occasionally stay away from home.
- Milestone service and commissioning experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of IP networking is advantageous.
