About Our Client

Our client is an SME (£20m turnover) organisation in the transport / logistics sector. The business has seen significant year-on-year growth and plans to increase turnover by 10% next year.

Job Description

• Conducting detailed financial analysis and creating regular financial reports.


• Guiding cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.


• Improving financial status by analysing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management.


• Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.


• Working closely with management team to understand revenue and cost drivers.


• Providing creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Analyst should have:

• A relevant qualification (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) or be qualified by experience.


• Relevant experience gained in a similar Finance Analyst / business partnering role.


• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.


• Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases and financial software applications.


• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
