About the Role

Our client are seeking two experienced Project Managers with a strong background in cladding, facades, and roofing to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to take full ownership of site-based projects across the North West, with the support of a collaborative office environment. The role will require site presence for the majority of the week, with one day per week spent in the office for planning, reporting, and coordination.

Role Overview

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of high-value construction projects. You'll manage labour, subcontractors, timelines, budgets, and ensure projects meet company and client standards. You will also write your own Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee full project lifecycle from mobilisation to completion

  • Develop and manage detailed project programmes, budgets, and resource plans

  • Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and materials to maintain workflow efficiency

  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with contract requirements, deadlines, and quality standards

  • Write and implement your own RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements)

  • Lead, support, and appraise on-site staff including Site and Assistant Managers

  • Maintain accurate site records, QCQA logs, and H&S documentation

  • Attend weekly office days for coordination with commercial, design, and procurement teams

  • Conduct regular site inspections and chair progress meetings with stakeholders

  • Support procurement planning, deliveries, and site logistics

  • Resolve subcontractor, labour, or supplier issues quickly and effectively

  • Foster positive client and stakeholder relationships through consistent communication

Additional Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with resident liaison and customer service teams to address post-installation issues

  • Stay current on building regulations, H&S legislation, and best practice standards

  • Ensure site practices meet ISO and company-specific compliance protocols

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Technical Qualification: HNC or equivalent in a construction-related field

  • Certifications:

    • CSCS Card

    • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)

    • Asbestos Awareness

    • Scaffold Inspection

    • First Aid

  • Experience:

    • Proven background in EWI, cladding, roofing, or façade systems

    • Experience managing construction programmes, budgets, and health & safety compliance

    • Confident in preparing and delivering your own RAMS

    • Competent in Microsoft Excel, MS Word, MS Project, and Outlook
