The claims handler will be responsible for managing a caseload of pre-litigated and Low Value Litigated Motor Claims for our Corporate clients.
Key Accountabilities
• To effectively and efficiently manage a caseload of pre-litigated motor claims up to £100k, including high value/complex matters from inception to settlement.
• To effectively and efficiently manage a caseload of litigated motor claims up to £100k.
• Identify cases for early litigation with high prospects
• To support delivery of consistently high levels of service and productivity
• To work closely with colleagues within the firm to deliver consistently high levels of service
• To input accurate data and ensure data maintenance
• Interact and communicate with clients
• Mentoring, training and to be the technical referral point for other pre lit and litigated team members
Working Hours
35 hours per week
Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch.
Primary location for this role is Liverpool. This role is a hybrid role working 1 day in the office and 4 days from home.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications
• Full Claim cycle experience, from initial quantum assessment, liability investigation and settlement negotiation.
• Experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and email
• Customer service experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Negotiation skills
• Communication skills
• Organisational skills
• Ability to mentor and support new starters.
