Job Summary


As an M&E Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of mechanical and electrical projects, ensuring cost control and efficient project delivery.


Your role will involve preparing detailed cost estimates, managing contracts, and collaborating with project teams to ensure successful project outcomes.



About the Company


Our client is a well-established MEP services provider with over 20 years of experience in the M&E industry. Based in Merseyside, they are ideally located for projects across the North West and North Wales.


The company offers a full service, including design and build, for the installation of M&E systems for new builds, refurbishments, or fit-out projects, with contract values ranging from £5,000 to £7 million.

Key Responsibilities



  • Manage contract administration, including procurement, valuations, and final accounts.


  • Monitor project budgets and ensure financial efficiency.


  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to deliver projects within budget and on time.


  • Conduct risk assessments and provide financial advice to stakeholders.


  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.


  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to project finances.


  • Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors within the team.




Skills & Experience Required



  • Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor, preferably in large-scale projects.


  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems within construction.


  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.


  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for quantity surveying.


  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.


  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.


  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
