We are seeking a Part-Time SEN Teacher to join our inclusive and nurturing school community. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to making a difference in the lives of children with diverse learning needs.
About the Role:As a Part-Time SEN Teacher, you will:
Plan, deliver and assess individualised learning programs for students with SEN
Work closely with the SENCO and support staff to create a positive and inclusive environment
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and other learning challenges
Foster strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on progress and development
Maintain up-to-date records in line with EHCPs and other educational plans
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Proven experience working with children with special educational needs
Strong understanding of SEND Code of Practice and relevant safeguarding procedures
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
A compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to teaching
Supportive leadership and SEN team
