We’re hiring a full-time leader to manage daily operations, drive sales, and lead a high-performing team. Job Description
The Responsibility:
- Represent Everlast Gyms as an ambassador for fitness
- Demonstrate our elevated ways of working always
- Drive all revenue lines from membership sales to product & secondary, to drive overall profitability of the gym
- Effective management of controllable costs such as stock orders & cleaning supplies to eliminate wastage and overspending
- Lead by example on reception and the gym floor in this member-facing role designed to enhance every visit
- Ensure central processes like FUNDAMENTALS, ASCEND & MOVE are followed & delivered to the highest level consistently
- Drive collective buy-in to national focuses & incentives like #WorkoutWednesday & #WeCommunicate
- Lead the recruiting, monitoring, training, and onboarding of new team members within your gym
- Ensure that all daily, weekly & monthly operational processes are completed consistently and to a high standard
- Willing and able to deliver honest, constructive feedback regularly to support all team members in achieving their potential and challenging them daily
- Be resilient and agile to react to challenging situations and find solutions
- Able to effectively manage all policies and procedures including Health & Safety, including pool plant operations
- Ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times, whether on-shift or not
Qualifications
Need to have:
- Passion for health, fitness, and wellness
- Level 2 qualification in fitness (desirable)
- 1+ year of previous management role experience within the fitness industry
- Strong leadership qualities
- Adaptability in communication and management style depending on the team member and their drivers
- A positive, solutions-driven mindset in the face of adversity
- A member champion mentality with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Driven and ambitious with a keen desire to learn and develop both behaviours and competencies specific to the role
- Flexibility in working hours and location to support the needs of the business including weekends and Bank Holidays when required
