ABOUT THE ROLE
Alphasonics is looking for a Sales and Support Assistant to generate new sales leads, create and maintain relationships with existing customers and agents, assisting our current sales team with general sales (mainly print sector to start), quotations and administration. There is also an exciting opportunity to create service, chemical and hire programmes to increase revenue and sales throughout. Once there is a clear understanding of our business there is potential to progress and create your own sales team. You will be working alongside the Managing Director and business development manager. It is essential the successful applicant have a sound knowledge of sales, servicing, parts management and or chemical sales within the print, medical or automotive industries.
There is a 6-month probationary period for this role.
Opportunity to build this into a team and progress further to management level.
You will be required to train with different departments within the business to be able to gain a full understanding.
The role is office based, working hours are Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm and Friday 8am -1pm
What you will do:
- Driving new sales opportunities by phone, email and face to face introductions.
- Develop a deep understanding of our products and how they add value to our customer’s businesses.
- Use a customer-focused, value-oriented consultative sales approach to educate customers on how our technology will add value to their business.
- Proactively follow up on leads generated by our Marketing and Sales team as well as generating your own opportunities.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales metrics and quotas.
- Manage, track, and report on all sales activities and results.
- Independent managing of our servicing and maintenance enquiries and new opportunities including creating and launching a service plan.
- Ensure high level of professionalism during all interactions with customers and prospects.
- Other duties, general sales admin as assigned and necessary training.

- Positive attitude, enthusiastic, eager to progress, driven and hardworking are a must.
- Fast Thinking and willing to learn.
- Must be a friendly people person with an open-minded approach. The ability to deal with various personalities that come in a small, long established family run business. A Team Player. Experience working in an office and with other professionals with a business focused mind set.
- Proven working experience in Service/Parts or Sales Experience within the industries we supply is a must (Please see our website)
- Solid track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in previous positions.
- Communication and outstanding negotiation along with excellent customer service skill.
- Operate with a growth mindset and have the flexibility to adapt to a changing, high growth start-upenvironment.
- The ability to problem solve and find solutions if challenges arise.
- Exceptional written and spoken English. In addition to English, other languages are welcomed. A nice telephone manner and computer skills are crucial.
- Clean driving licence. A willingness to travel from time to time for customer visits or exhibitions is a must. Exhibitions may take place once or twice a year. Customer visits are expected after full training has been completed.
