Front of House Youth Host - #1741005

Thrive is seeking a coffee shop youth host - the role is a blended role that involves welcoming young people into our space whilst helping the team in meeting the organisations wider objectives.

Coffee shop youth host duties include welcoming visitors, completing sign-in and monitoring forms, providing refreshments and keeping coffee shop area clean, including the cleaning of coffee machine, cups etc

Other duties include supporting the team with Thrive inductions, providing digital support to 16-17yr olds by helping them to navigate the internet to research topics related to their educational or job goals and supporting the team with social media posts.

Essential Skills:

- Must be passionate about helping young people reach their full potential

- Must be computer literate and able to use Microsoft applications and social media platforms

- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills including verbal, listening, written and non-verbal

- Must be highly organised

- Must be committed to being part of a small team, listening to ideas and feedback and acting on these where relevant

- Have the ability to manage your own time independently

- Be willing to undertake learning and development

Hours: 35hrs per week

Salary: National Living Wage
