Contract Type: Fixed term for 18 months
Salary: £35,829 (£39,600 is achieved after 12 months successful performance in the role)
Working Hours: Full time 35 hours
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday/ Hybrid
Location: Liverpool or London based

The difference you will make as a Engagement & Events Coordinator
You will support the Corporate Planning Advisor and the Director of Strategy and Communications to plan and deliver a programme of engagement events to support the development of the new five-year Corporate Strategy, and to analyse feedback to report key trends and priorities.
The role will also require you to develop a programme of activity to support the launch of the new Strategy and ensure its effective implementation across the organisation, so the Strategy is “owned” by all of the business

- Experience of planning, managing and delivering events.
- Experience of consulting with a range of groups using various methods.
- Ability to capture feedback and produce clear summaries of discussions, identifying key themes.

Role Profile
- Work with the Corporate Planning Advisor to plan and undertake a series of engagement events and activities (both in-person and online) with a range of stakeholders, including colleagues, customers and external partners to support the development of the new Corporate Strategy. (Events will range from small scale discussions to large scale conference type events).
- Ensure events are accessible and inclusive and are delivered professionally and to budget.
- Keep accurate records of all engagement events including attendance and satisfaction scores.
- Record all feedback from engagement so it accurately captures all key points raised.
- Facilitate discussion to allow participants to share their views and ideas, whilst keeping focused on the main purpose.
- Analyse all engagement feedback to establish trends and emerging priorities for the new Corporate Strategy, and be able to confidently report this back to a range of audiences including Executive Directors and Involved Customers and Group Board.
- Liaise with the appointed marketing agency to ensure alignment between its campaign and engagement events and activity.
- To service the internal Corporate Plan Steering Group, including arranging all meetings and minute taking.
- Work with the Corporate Planning Advisor and other teams to plan and undertake a programme of activity to launch the new Corporate Strategy.
Essential

- Ability to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner when working under pressure.
- Good written and verbal communication, including report writing and presentation skills.
- Working interpedently and ability to manage workload.
- Ability to complete tasks accurately and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Confident user of IT
- Experience of working in social housing.
- Experience of working in communications/social media.
- Experience of corporate planning/strategy development.
- Experience of undertaking equality impact assessments.
- Experience of GDPR.
