A vibrant school in Liverpool is seeking a passionate and dedicated MFL Teacher to join its experienced and supportive faculty. This position offers an exciting opportunity to teach French, Spanish, or another language across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. The successful candidate will inspire students through dynamic and engaging lessons, developing their language skills and cultural awareness.

The RoleThe MFL Teacher will deliver high-quality language lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students to become confident, multilingual individuals. The school encourages an immersive approach to language learning and provides a supportive environment where teachers can continuously develop their skills. There may also be opportunities for leadership roles and responsibility for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging MFL lessons across KS3 and KS4 (French, Spanish, or other languages).
  • Plan, prepare, and assess high-quality teaching materials.
  • Inspire students to appreciate and understand the culture and nuances of the language(s).
  • Contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum and extracurricular activities.
  • Help foster a passion for language learning and promote cultural awareness.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience in teaching MFL (French, Spanish, or other languages).
  • A formal teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire students.
  • Legal right to work in the UK and a clear DBS check.
