Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of credit hire litigation files, including pre-litigated and litigated matters.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries, reports, and documentation.
- Draft and review court documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
- Assist solicitors in the preparation of trial bundles and witness statements.
- Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely responses to court orders and client inquiries.
- Liaise with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel professionally and effectively.
- Provide administrative support as needed, ensuring all documentation is accurate and well-organized.
Essential
- Previous experience in litigation, ideally within credit hire or personal injury.
- Proven ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficient in legal research and case management software.
- A legal qualification (e.g., LPC, law degree)
