About the role

It’s a really exciting time to be involved in SEO at Very, having just completed the Skyscape migration there’s huge opportunity to contribute to the foundations of our fresh Organic Growth approach.


Responsible for the hands-on execution of the content strategy, focusing on creating high-quality, SEO-optimised content. This role involves supporting the content manager with keyword research, editing and optimising content for search engines and user engagement, and ensuring brand consistency, and building content pages in the new CMS. They work closely with the Content Manager to implement the content calendar and contribute to achieving content performance targets.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Brief copy team on key content requirements.
  • Undertake keyword research around trending topics.
  • Source imagery and supporting content for content manager.
  • Report on performance and support in establishing measurement framework.
  • Build and maintain content pages.

About you.

You’ll have an interest in Organic Growth and SEO and be keen to learn and understand the changing shape of the industry. Whilst this role will require a lot of self-management and discipline, you’ll be a team player who’s happy to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to deliver effectively.


Experience in content production through organic channels is preferable and you’ll be excited by finding and capitalising on trends. Whilst not directly writing content you’ll be

 Key Knowledge:  


  • Understanding or experience of using content management systems. 

  • Knowledge of how to research trends and opportunities through organic channels – social or search.  

  • Have worked in a retail marketing team or agency side.  
  • An understanding of SEO and how to impact performance.
