Procurement Manager – Northwest - Bluebay Building Products

As a Procurement Manager based in the Northwest, you will be responsible for:

• Negotiating with suppliers to develop a competitive product portfolio that aligns with business strategy and customer needs.

• Overseeing stock holding, rotation, and cleansing while implementing system-driven inventory management for buying efficiencies.

• Managing imports from overseas suppliers, ensuring compliance with all processes and documentation.

• Conducting regular reviews of supplier agreements, matrix pricing, and discount structures to optimise commercial advantage.

• Collaborating with branches to identify promotional initiatives that support the delivery of business objectives and branch operations.

And here’s what we’d like you to have:

• Experience in procurement and sourcing (local and international), and a deep understanding of market trends in building products.

• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams, negotiate effectively, and manage supplier relationships.

• Ability to analyse data, identify market trends, and apply commercial acumen to optimise performance and procurement strategies.

• Resilience in a fast-paced environment, strong time management, and independent decision-making to solve challenges efficiently.
