Head of School (Alternative Provision)
Liverpool
Permanent/Full Time
Salary - £40,000 to £50,000
Teaching Personnel have a great opportunity to work with an Alternative provision school based in Liverpool. The school support approximately 20 pupils on roll to ensure that the school can provide ample opportunities for children who need a nurturing, encouraging and supportive environment, specifically for those who will reintegrate back into a mainstream setting.
Candidate Requirements:
Engagement Skills: To manage at an operational level the performance of the school, being part of the Leadership team, and managing the school-based staff to ensure the expected outcomes
Emotional Support: Passionate about making a positive impact on students’ lives
Qualification: QTS, PGCE, leadership experience and experience line managing a team. NPQH is desirable
Knowledge: Have an understanding of alternative provision and dealing with students with special needs
Experience: Working within an education setting or equivalent.
Communication: Professional communication with students and staff
Promotion of Values: Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, safeguarding, wellbeing, and British values
