As a Multi Trade Operative (Groundworker) you will be completing all repair and improvement work safely, efficiently and to client satisfaction. To actively participate in ensuring any safeguarding or repair concerns are noted and reported.
Location: Liverpool, Wirral, Sefton (On Site)
Salary: £32,302 Per Annum

As a Multi Trade Operative (Groundworker) you will be completing all repair and improvement work safely, efficiently and to client satisfaction. To actively participate in ensuring any safeguarding or repair concerns are noted and reported.

Multi Trade Operative (Groundworker) Main Duties
- To be able to perform a range of repairs, maintenance and improvement works as required.
- To be able to locate properties in various surrounding areas and effectively use a map and take directions.
- To organise daily jobs effectively and independently, taking into consideration job priority and appointments made.
- To assist colleagues in ensuring timely completion of jobs.
- To document all orders and job sheets efficiently and produce accurate reports regarding works undertaken and properties visited.
- To communicate effectively with internal office staff, colleagues, managers and customers.
- To perform other duties as appropriate to the job level, including providing support to colleagues as directed by the manager.
- To complete jobs in priority and completion date order.
- To attend and participate in training and information sessions relating to health and safety and relevant processes.
- To help us to achieve our aim of becoming the 'contractor of choice' by providing excellent service to our customers and working closely with our partners.
- To ensure compliance with the Groups health and safety policies.
- To undertake relevant Continuing Professional Development (CPD) applicable to their professional body and be prepared to undertake training as directed by the Group.
- The post holder may be directed by their line manager to carry out other duties and responsibilities in line with his/her post, grade, skills, knowledge and experience.
- Competent in Groundworks with ability to complete joinery / minor plumbing works in association with groundworks orders.
- Undertake all aspects of brickwork and associated work; including laying flags, edgings, lay/consolidate hardcore, landscaping, brick and block walling, fencing, drainage, foundations and excavation.
- To complete mould washes and mould treatments in out properties.
- High degree of initiative to complete jobs by target date.
- Ability to query jobs and liaise with office staff and managers.
- Full awareness of relevant H&S requirements and considerations.
- Excellent standards of communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience of working with Housing Associations and delivering repairs is desirable.
