We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Lead Paralegal to join our Credit Hire team in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and capable individual to take the next step in their legal career within a highly regarded, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of complex and high-value credit hire claims
  • Providing technical guidance and oversight to junior paralegals and legal assistants
  • Reviewing and advising on case strategy, evidence, and risk
  • Ensuring compliance with SLA, KPI, and quality standards
  • Liaising with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders with professionalism and clarity
  • Supporting the team leader with training, performance monitoring, and workflow management
  • Contributing to process improvement and knowledge sharing within the department

What will help you succeed in this role?

Essential

  • Previous experience handling credit hire or motor claims (defendant experience preferred)
  • Strong litigation knowledge and confidence dealing with Part 7 and Part 8 proceedings
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
