We are currently seeking a passionate and fully qualified Science Teacher to join a range of well-established secondary schools across Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and contribute to high-quality science education within dynamic and inclusive school environments.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 depending on specialism and experience. You will play a key role in fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a strong understanding of scientific principles among students of all abilities.

• Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and well-structured Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 teaching available depending on specialism)
• Specialise in one or more disciplines: Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
• Differentiate teaching to support all learners, including SEN and high-achieving students
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom and laboratory environment
• Support students in achieving strong GCSE (and A-Level where applicable) results
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practice
• Participate in school activities, parents’ evenings, and continuous professional development

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Degree in Science or a related discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or similar)
• Experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and challenge students of all abilities

• Experience teaching GCSE and/or A-Level Science
• Specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics at KS5
• Familiarity with schools in Liverpool or the local education landscape
• Experience delivering practical science lessons and maintaining lab safety standards
• Use of innovative teaching methods or technology
