Randstad Education is looking for confident, motivated Cover Supervisors to join our team for daily and long-term roles across Liverpool. From the heart of the city centre to schools in South Liverpool, Aintree, and West Derby, we have immediate starts available.

Your Role:

• Lead the classroom by supervising students as they complete pre-set work.
• Manage student behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Guide learning by explaining lesson objectives and answering student questions.
• Ensure a safe environment by following all school safeguarding procedures.
• Take accurate registers and monitor attendance at the start of every lesson.
• Collect completed work and provide feedback for the returning teacher.
• Act as a professional role model, encouraging students to stay on task and engaged.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people (e.g., coaching, youth work).
• Effective communication skills to explain tasks and give instructions.
• Strong classroom management and the ability to handle challenging behaviour.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
