Volunteer Communications Officer - #2071571

About the role:

Our Communications Team continues to grow, and we are looking for passionate individuals who are keen to give their time to make a meaningful difference within the community.

This is an exciting volunteer opportunity to join the growing Communications Team at North West First Responder Group, supporting the organisation through engaging content, communications support, and community engagement.

This role would be an excellent opportunity for students or individuals looking to build experience and develop a portfolio in areas such as journalism, marketing, media, public relations, or communications.

What the role involves:

• Creating, planning, and scheduling social media content
• Assisting with communications campaigns and engagement
• Responding to emails and occasional phone calls when required
• Supporting the team at meetings and community events
• Helping promote the work and impact of North West First Responder Group

Commitment:

We ask for a minimum commitment of 8 hours per month, which includes attending meetings, supporting events, and communications activity.
