MONTIREX | Assistant Merchandiser | Competitive Salary + Benefits | Liverpool

About the Brand:

Our client is Montirex, a brand we've proudly partnered with for the past four years, watching them evolve from a team of just 12 people working from a small office above a warehouse, to now over 110 employees strong and operating from their third headquarters.

This is a business genuinely disrupting the activewear and performance market. There isn't a brand in their space that hasn't heard of them and for many competitors, they're now a business that has to be taken very seriously as they continue to successfully capture market share at rapid pace.

What makes this opportunity even more exciting is the environment they've built.

Montirex combines scale, ambition, and entrepreneurial energy, whilst still being led by their day-one founders, Kieran and Danny. Alongside this, they've strengthened the business with experienced leadership talent from across the sector to support growth, process, and long-term strategy.

We often give the "sell" on why a role is exciting, but this genuinely is one we fully back, advocate for, and celebrate every success within. This isn't just another recruiter/client relationship... to us; it's a true partnership where we want both the business and the people joining it to thrive.

So, if you're currently an MAA ready to step up, or an Assistant Merchandiser feeling ready for something bigger, this is seriously worth considering.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary
  • Discretionary bonus
  • 26 days holiday + birthday off + bank holidays (34 days total)
  • 40% staff discount

  • Genuine progression opportunities within a scaling business

The Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded Assistant Merchandiser to join Montirex, a fast-growing fashion and performance-wear brand experiencing exceptional growth across eCommerce, retail, and wholesale channels.

Working within a close-knit merchandising team, you'll gain exposure across the wider business whilst playing a key role in supporting trading performance, stock management, and commercial decision-making.

There is still so much to build, improve, and shape; meaning real opportunity to progress, take ownership, and grow alongside the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain accurate intake and delivery schedules aligned to business targets
  • Deliver weekly trading analysis across key KPIs including stock, sales, profit, and markdown performance
  • Provide commercial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making

  • Support the business in identifying opportunities for growth and operational improvements

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Currently operating at Assistant Merchandiser level, or a strong MAA ready to step up
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with advanced Excel capability
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Strong commercial awareness and decision-making ability
  • Comfortable making recommendations and backing calculated risks
