Class 1 Driver – Liverpool | Temp to Perm Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join a busy distribution operation based in the Liverpool area. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for drivers seeking long-term, stable employment.

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• Start time: 09:00am ( 8 hour days)

The Role:

As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for completing collections and deliveries across the region, ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently while maintaining high service standards.

Duties will include:

• Completing scheduled collections and deliveries
• Assisting with loading and unloading at depot and customer locations
• Using handheld devices and company systems to update delivery information and job statuses
• Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport regulations
• Communicating effectively with transport teams and customers
• Following all driver hours, health and safety, and company procedures

Please note that this is a physically active role and regular manual handling will be required.

Requirements:

• Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A professional and reliable approach to work
• Good communication skills
• Previous Class 1 driving experience ( 1 year minimum )
