Aseptic and Cleanroom Experience Essential
We are currently recruiting for a Skilled Pharmaceutical Operative to join a leading manufacturing organisation in Speke, Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on the production of viral seed stocks that support the influenza vaccine manufacturing process and contribute to work that has a direct impact on global health.
This role requires candidates with proven hands on experience working in a strictly controlled aseptic and cleanroom environment. Applicants without this experience will not be considered.
About the Role
As a key member of the manufacturing team, you will carry out a wide range of production activities in a highly regulated setting. You will play a critical role in ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality, compliance, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Work strictly in line with all departmental SOPs and manufacturing instructions within an aseptic GMP environment
Carry out manufacturing activities within a cleanroom, ensuring full compliance with aseptic techniques at all times
Monitor and control processes within your area to ensure consistent and compliant output
Complete all documentation accurately and in real time, ensuring full traceability and compliance
Perform detailed documentation review and sign off to achieve a right first time standard
Maintain a strong focus on health and safety, always contributing to a safe and compliant workplace
Review and update SOPs and manufacturing instructions, supporting ongoing process improvements
Promote and maintain a cGMP culture, ensuring high standards of housekeeping and audit readiness
Apply continuous improvement principles including lean practices, problem solving, and waste reduction
Work collaboratively within a team environment and communicate effectively across departments
Attend all required training and continue developing your knowledge and skills
Contribute to process improvements, equipment performance, and overall operational excellence
Essential Skills and Experience
Candidates must have proven recent experience working within an aseptic pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environment
Hands on experience operating within cleanroom environments is essential
Strong practical knowledge of GMP within an aseptic setting
A clear understanding of contamination control and aseptic technique
Excellent attention to detail, particularly with documentation and compliance
Experience working with manufacturing equipment or a basic mechanical aptitude
Desirable
Technical training or qualifications in biotechnology or a related discipline
