History Teacher - Liverpool (City Centre)

We are currently working in partnership with a lovely secondary school in Liverpool city centre who are seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join their team on a full-time permanent basis from September.

The school is a well-established secondary school for students aged 11-18, located close to the heart of Liverpool.

The school prides itself on being a true community-focused academy, committed to delivering a high-quality education to students of all abilities and backgrounds.

  • Offers both GCSE and Sixth Form provision, providing opportunities to teach across key stages. Ideally this position would be to teach across KS3-KS5

The school promotes a culture of enjoyment and achievement, ensuring students make strong academic, social, and emotional progress.


The Role

  • Teach History across KS3, KS4and KS5
  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that bring the subject to life
  • Support students in developing analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Contribute to a supportive and collaborative department

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching History within a UK secondary setting up to KS5
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for your specialism
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities
  • Committed, reliable, and adaptable
