Your new company Hays Education are supporting a friendly and inclusive primary school in Wavertree who are seeking a dedicated Level 3 qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team. This welcoming school places a strong emphasis on nurturing each child's development in a caring and stimulating environment. The successful candidate will work alongside the Early Years team to support children aged 3-5 during this crucial stage of their learning journey.
Your new role

* Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS framework.
* Promote children's social, emotional, and physical development through positive interactions and encouragement.
* Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
* Provide targeted support for individual pupils, including those with additional needs.
* Observe, assess, and record children's progress, contributing to learning journals and discussions with staff.
* Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Working hours for this role are 8.30am-3.30pm Monday-Friday.
What you'll need to succeed

* A Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or equivalent.
* Previous experience working within an Early Years or primary school setting.
* A sound understanding of the EYFS framework.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children.
* The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
