About the Role
This is a key position responsible for shaping and delivering the organisation’s recruitment and talent development agenda across the UK. You will play a central role in attracting and developing talent, strengthening succession plans, and supporting a high-performance culture. Working closely with senior stakeholders across different business areas, you will help align people initiatives with evolving commercial priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior HR leadership to deliver the UK people strategy
- Lead initiatives across talent acquisition, development, and leadership capability
- Work collaboratively with HR colleagues to implement people and development programmes
- Support diversity and inclusion initiatives, fostering an engaged and inclusive culture
- Build and maintain talent pipelines to meet current and future business needs
- Encourage internal progression through structured development planning
- Oversee training activity, including leadership development programmes
- Act as the main contact for apprenticeship and early careers initiatives
- Enhance employer branding to attract high-quality candidates
- Ensure consistent and structured interview and selection processes

- Commercially minded, with an understanding of fast-paced operational environments
- Strong relationship builder, able to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Collaborative and approachable leadership style
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure alignment with UK employment legislation and data protection requirements
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in HR data, reporting, and performance metrics
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in, talent development, and succession planning (5+ years)
- Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills including recruitment partnerships
- Experience working across multi-site or multi-division organisations is advantageous
Qualifications
- CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience)
