Role Description The Corporate Finance Associate (Contract) will support M&A and corporate finance projects in a remote capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining detailed financial models, conducting financial and valuation analyses, and contributing to preparation of investment memoranda, presentations, and client reports. The associate will assist in due diligence processes by gathering, reviewing, and synthesizing financial and operational information from multiple sources. The role will also involve market and industry research, benchmarking, and helping to identify key value drivers and risks in potential transactions. The Corporate Finance Associate will collaborate with senior team members, support project management activities, and ensure high-quality, accurate deliverables within agreed timelines.
Qualifications
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data and derive clear insights.
  • Proficiency in Finance and Financial Analysis, with experience in valuation methods (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions).
  • Hands-on experience with Financial Modeling, including building integrated three-statement models and scenario/sensitivity analyses.
  • Background in Due Diligence, including data review, risk identification, and documentation of key findings.
  • Advanced Excel and solid PowerPoint skills; comfort working with large datasets and creating executive-ready presentations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
  • Prior experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate development, or management consulting is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote, deadline-driven environment.
