Business Development Manager - Catering Equipment

Location: M62 Corridor (Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, York & Hull)

The Package

  • £45,000 basic salary

The Role

This is a field-based Business Development role focused on managing and growing key accounts across the North of England.

You'll drive revenue by developing existing relationships, identifying new opportunities within major multi-site customers, and delivering tailored, solution-led propositions.

  • 4 days per week client-facing in the field
  • 1 day per week home-based for planning and administration

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow and develop key accounts across mainly public sector clients
  • Identify and convert new revenue opportunities within existing customer bases
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders
  • Deliver consultative, solution-led sales approaches
  • Lead commercial discussions, negotiations, and account strategy
  • Maintain a consistent presence with clients through regular site visits

About You

  • Proven track record as a Business Development Manager or similar role
  • Experience managing and growing public sector accounts
  • Background selling into NHS, local authorities, or universities
  • Understanding of working with Frameworks + buying groups e.g. NHS + TUCO
  • Open to candidates from both food and non-food sectors
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Highly motivated, customer-facing, and comfortable in a field-based role
