We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing law firm in Liverpool seeking a Conveyancing Assistant / Paralegal to join their busy property team.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build or progress their career in conveyancing, working on a varied caseload of residential property matters within a supportive and collaborative environment.
You will gain hands-on experience across the full transaction lifecycle, with the opportunity to develop your skills and take on increasing responsibility over time.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting fee earners on a range of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion
- Preparing and drafting legal documents, contracts, and correspondence
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and third parties
- Managing files and maintaining accurate records on the case management system
- Ordering searches and reviewing title documentation
- Assisting with exchange and completion processes
- Handling post-completion matters, including Land Registry applications (where required)
- Ensuring compliance with SRA, AML, and internal procedures
- Previous experience in a conveyancing support or paralegal role (or strong transferable legal experience)
- A genuine interest in property law and conveyancing
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills and a professional approach to client care
- High attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
- Experience handling your own small caseload
- Knowledge of the full conveyancing process from instruction to completion
- A legal qualification (LLB, LPC, CILEX or working towards)
