Role summary:

Reporting to the Head of Software Development this role will be responsible for capturing business requirements from stakeholders for the purpose of improving processes and systems for the DX group. The ideal candidate will understand business requirements and support in translating this into the design and implementation of solutions, bridging technology and operations teams. The ability to analyse processes, practises and data to support change initiatives is essential and the role also includes light touch Project Management and Testing.

Key responsibilities

  • To collaboratively work with stakeholders to capture existing processes and promote process improvements.
  • To lead /participate in workshops applying industry knowledge
  • Produce documentation which supports identified development, testing and support processes.
  • To be able communicate effectively at all levels, including a wide range of Customers, Senior Management, Operational Staff and other IT staff.
  • Support the transition of solution from development and into IT operations.
  • Provide 3rd line support as, when required.
  • To ensure that development requirements consider relevant legislative and DX accreditations requirements including but not exclusively ISO9001, GDPR etc.

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of general business / operational processes.
  • Support team / Senior user handover training,
  • Influencing and initiative skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Able to manage a number of work streams at the same time.
  • Good skills in a range of software including Excel/PowerPoint etc.
  • Excellent written English, able to produce documentation to suit intended audience.
  • Ability to operate within an agile extremely fast paced environment.
