Adele Carr Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business that has doubled in size for three consecutive years. With a current turnover of approximately £20 million, our client is looking for an ambitious finance professional who wants to play a key role in supporting continued growth.
This isn't a traditional finance position. They are looking for someone commercially minded who can partner with the wider business, use data to support decision-making and help drive future performance.
The Role
Working closely with senior leadership, you'll provide financial insight and analysis that supports business growth and strategic investment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Business partnering with operational and commercial teams
- Producing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decisions
- Developing financial models and forecasting future performance
- Analysing investment opportunities and providing data-led recommendations
- Identifying commercial risks while presenting practical solutions
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
- Driving process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Using AI and modern technology to improve reporting, analysis and productivity
- Presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders in a clear and meaningful way
- Supporting the continued growth and scalability of the finance function
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, evolving business and can see the bigger commercial picture.
You will ideally have:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified, Qualified by Experience (QBE) or be a strong Part Qualified Accountant
- Previous experience within a growing or scaling business
- Strong commercial awareness
- Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills
- Confidence challenging and influencing stakeholders
- The ability to balance commercial opportunity with financial risk
- A positive, solutions-focused approach
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong Excel skills with experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools advantageous
- An interest in AI and how emerging technology can improve finance processes
