An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor or Barrister with experience in inquests to join the specialist Healthcare team of a leading national law firm in Liverpool.

The Role
Working as part of a collaborative and supportive team, you will advise clients across the healthcare sector on a broad range of public law and healthcare matters, with a particular focus on inquests and advocacy.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising clients on all aspects of inquest proceedings, including advocacy.
- Providing guidance on public law matters, including governance, constitutional issues, judicial review, human rights, and public and patient consultation.
- Assisting with Court of Protection matters where required.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships by delivering practical, commercially focused advice.
- Identifying opportunities to develop new services and contribute to the continued growth of the healthcare practice.
- Working closely with colleagues across the wider healthcare team on complex and multidisciplinary matters.
The Candidate
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors and Barristers who can demonstrate:
- At least 12 months' experience handling inquest matters.
- Strong advocacy and communication skills.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
- The ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Experience within the healthcare sector and/or Court of Protection matters would be advantageous but is not essential.
- A proactive, collaborative approach with an interest in business development and practice growth.
