Wellbeing Advisor

Location: Liverpool
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Reed FE is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wellbeing Advisor to support individuals in making positive and lasting changes to their health, wellbeing, and personal circumstances.

The Role

As a Wellbeing Advisor, you will work with individuals under probation supervision and those facing a range of complex challenges, including social isolation, mental ill-health, substance misuse, relationship breakdown, and other barriers to wellbeing.

You will provide personalised support, develop action plans, deliver one-to-one interventions and group workshops, and work collaboratively with local agencies to ensure individuals receive the support they need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of service users, supporting them to achieve positive wellbeing outcomes.
  • Deliver personalised assessments and wellbeing plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including screening for Learning Difficulties and Disabilities (LDD).
  • Provide one-to-one support, group workshops, and digital interventions.
  • Develop strengths-based action plans that encourage sustainable progress.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Experience supporting individuals to improve their wellbeing and achieve personal outcomes.
  • Experience managing a caseload within a target-driven environment.
  • Ability to deliver both one-to-one and group-based interventions.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and partnership-working skills.
  • Ability to use digital platforms and technology to support service delivery.
  • Experience creating and implementing strengths-based support plans.
  • Knowledge of local health and wellbeing services and referral pathways.

All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years’ referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.

Reed Further Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment by completing mandatory training within 6 weeks of your first assignment and annually thereafter.
